Fitness is not just for the physical body. Holistic fitness takes into consideration all the aspects of our being: mental, spiritual, physical, emotional, and energetic. There tends to be a dependency on other professionals for us to heal. There’s a place for experts to support our recovery, but we are responsible for troubleshooting by getting informed and addressing the lowest-hanging fruit. In other words, before going to a professional, let’s try to address the issue by trusting our intuitive guidance and your body’s knowledge (through intimate dialogue) to find solutions. The empowerment that comes with this kind of self-sufficiency is medicine in itself.
